I was
born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1967.
I
performed and recorded in Cleveland off and on for 19 years with great talent
such as Jim
Volk, Craig Robertson, Ara
Pavo, Cindy MacKay, and
others. Collaborated with hip hop/gospel recording artist Jacqueline
Clemons. I
was one of the first acts
ever to play at the
Barking Spider Tavern, Cleveland's
premier music venue, which now features national performers. Other venues
have included The Jungle, Cuzzens, RumRunners, Arabica, The Ribworks, The
Grovewood, The Flying Burrito Cantina, The Hessler Street Fair, The Turkey
Ridge, Becky's, and many more.
I was drawn to music since
before I can remember.
My father played the guitar, and the banjo, and also told stories, and my
mother liked to sing. I
sneaked into a church to which I did not belong beginning when I was about
7 years old, so that I could sing in the choir. Sang awful hymns for about
2 years. I got my first Beatles record from Norman Cebulak, the boy next door,
when I was about 10 years old. Taught myself the guitar starting when I was
about 14 years old. I just could not resist.
My seemingly endless search for Happiness, and Truth led me to the teaching of Adi Da Samraj in 1997, and I have felt "heart-rested," ever since. I have been rediscovered in humor....necessary in this somewhat humorless circumstance in which we apparently find ourselves.
Often
write about "human" drama....hopefully exposing it (and us) for
what it isn't......
"experience has only taught me that it hasn't taught me well."

"Naked")
